Well the guy I bought my truck from told me the fogs didn't work because he kept blowing bulbs and fuses. I didn't think it was much of an issue thinking I would reground the wires and clean them out.

Well this weekend I did the HD mod as well as niteshade the back end which came out great!

After baking the headlights I thought I might as well bake the fogs and clean them out while I had the process down (oven time, temp, tools). When I opened them up they were full of water and black mold. Now I could not tell prior to opening them up due to condensation of the lenses so this was a bad surprise. They entire inside of the chrome reflector is black with mold and there is nothing I haven't tried that will remove the mold and not touch the chrome reflector . So I tried searching for just the reflector pieces to see if ebay was offering them but all I have found was fogs for 45ish each. Money is tight and I would really not want to spend $100 on fogs but I do have 2 HID kits in the mail and I was really hoping to get them both done ASAP.(it's cold out!)

Any suggestions for trying to clean them or where to just get reflector inserts. I am assuming they just pop out but I haven't tried that yet, I was concerned with getting them shiny first.

Got mine for 60 bucks shipped to my door. On Ebay.. Let me try and find the link. Worth the money. I dont see those looking good again. These brand new ones cleaned up my front real nice.

 

$60 shipped is pretty good. I need them to be functional and all cleaners are doing is removing everything so light dispersion will suck.
