fog light issue

Default fog light issue

so i keep burning out one fog light well it actually blows the glass part of the bulb not the element any one have a similar issue

Make sure that you are not getting oils from your hands on the bulb- that is exactly what can happen. the bulb will shatter because the oils on the glass overheat it. Make sure you wipe the capsule with rubbing alcohol should you touch it. Also make sure that there is nothing in the the foglight housing bulb opening.

I had this problem for the past month; I changed one fog 3 times. Do not touch the glass part of the light; the oils from your hand will make it explode.

I also took my fog lights off. Took off the front glass; clean and resealed the glass back.Never did it again.
