Default Fog lamp question

2005 lariet. I've blown two bulbs due to moister in lens assembly, took everything apart, don't see any cracks in lens. so I filled lens with water to find any cracks. No water leaked out, then I see a vent hole on top side that has a little sticker on it that is half way off, I assume that this is supposed to work like a one way valve, do you think that it would cause a problem if I just sealed up that hole?

Here in amazon. Just look for LED in the same bulb configuration.
