I agree...flowmaster for loudness, magnaflow for smooth, low growl and no cab drone. I have an 18" magnaflow and it is pretty much perfect. I was the same as you...I wanted a nice growl but no drone and I'm very happy with the magnaflow muffler.

Idk where y'all are getting that flowmaster has a lot of drone. Mine are dumped under my cab, and I have none to little.

I have magnaflow high flow cats and delta 40 flowmaster I really like this setup I have no drone at 55 at 65-70 there is a light drone it's not bad but with the setup it has a nice loud idle and a tame cruise noise. And under hard acceleration it sounds really awesome .... I get worse fuel mileage now >:p

Yeah I've always believed/heard that flowmaster is for sound magnaflow is for performance.

I think these trucks sound great with flows if your just replacing the muffler. But if you go true duals with an x pipe then manga flows would be my choice.

Magnaflow gives more performance and horsepower on the dyno. I still don't understand why either because if you look inside a Flowmaster there isnt much there but for some reason Magnaflow out flows them.

I'm a mustang guy and that's what I have always seen when the mustang magazines test parts on the dyno. I have Magnaflow's on my 02 Roush and they are awesome.
