I have a 2006 with 40/20/40 front seats.
I'm relatively short so I have the driver's seat forward quite a bit. This makes the center console almost worthless, I can't reach back to open it very easily. I'm wondering if a floor-mounted console is available that I can install in front of the center jump seat. I've done some looking on Amazon and didn't see anything.
I had the same 40/20/40 front seat in my 05 F150. I removed the center jump seat & replaced it with a center console from a 04-08 F150 with a column shift. I found one a local wrecking yard & I just had to paint it to match my interior. The center console uses the same holes to mount the console the center jump seat used. Just make sure if you get one that they give you the floor studs & nuts to secure the console to the floor. I had to use the bolts that held the jump seat in, not a big deal either way.
