Default FL0rida CrAcK3r's Build

2006 F150 Fx4 Supercab SB

What's up everyone. I'm fairly new to the forum and am a complete noob at customizing a F150 but am extremely excited to get my truck looking good. Seems like the thing to do on this forum is to create a thread to display the progress of your truck, so here's mine.

I bought this Certified Pre-Owned truck at the Ford dealership in August 2009.

Unfortunately, I've got a few dents since I first bought it, and I've lost an antenna, passenger side mirror, broke grille, broken front valence, and a dent in the hood. I recently stumbled across this site while looking into how much it would cost to fix all these things and found out how many different mods you can do to your truck.

UPGRADE #1 - DIY Harely Headlight Mod

UPGRADE #2 - Plasti-Dipped Stock 18" Rims Black

UPGRADE #3 - 2.5" Daystar Leveling Kit (NO PICS)

UPGRADE #4 - LED Taillights (Not Sure If I Like These - Opinions Please)

UPGRADE #5 - Plast-Dipped Fender Flares Black (Truck Now Shown With 2.5" Daystar Leveling Kit)

Anyways, there are a ton of things I'm going to do to this truck. But this is where I'm at now (5/5/12). I'm getting ready to put BFG Mud Terrain KM2 35/12.50/18 on the plasti dipped stock 18" rims in the next few weeks.

Loose the bulky tails!
Youve got HD style headlights so get HD tails.

Looking good so far! Except for those, well, I guess you call them tail lights.

On another note, I was beginning to think I had the only FX4 with grey leather!

Thanks for all of the replies and opinions as well. I just got these tail lights a week ago and haven't had time to give them much thought, but after the above mention about the HD style tails, I think I'll go with that plan. It makes more sense.

Oh well, who wants a cheap set of LED Tail Lights??? lol
