fixing thrust angle
My rear end is out of alignment is there other options to fix it other then getting the frame straightened which is what the alignment shop told me to do because of it being a straight axel. Also would this cause a bouncing in the rear end when I break.
I have this problem as well. Is there anyone who might care to chime in on this? I bought my truck brand new, 2014 XLT S-Crew 4X4. It has just over 2,000 miles on it, and I noticed it pulling to the right. Brought it into an aligment shop, and after putting it up on the rack they informed me that the front wheels were out of alignment, which they fixed. However, I was also told that my rear wheels are not perfectly aligned to "0 degrees" in regards to the toe angle, but are still within factory specs. The guy who worked at the shop looked underneath the truck for any potential damage which could have caused this, but didn't notice anything. I brought it into the dealership and they told me there was nothing they could do, as it was still within specs. So I decided to call Ford, and they informed me that "it must have come straight from the factory that way", even though it was not supposed to. Ford said that they cannot do anything either as it is still within factory specs. Even though the truck drives straight and I do not notice any problems, it still ticks me off due to the fact that this is a brand new vehicle. I am concerned that this could cause problems with accelerated or uneven tire-wear, and other potential problems down the road. The truck has not been in any impacts/collisions, or hit any large potholes or run over any curbs.
Thanks
