If it is a 4x4 the biggest you can go with no level is probably going to be a 33". I have a 2 inch level and my tire is a 34.7x11.5 and I had some minor trimming. It also depends on the tire and how aggressive the sidewall is. If you go with a level go with a 2.5" it seems to be the most popular.
