I am looking on purchasing a set of 275/70/18 for the '04 F150. These tires will be mounted on the stock rim.

Have any of you used the Firestone Transforce AT tire before? They look to have a decent all terrain tread. I am just worried about tread life.

If you have any knowledge on these let me know.

We have some mounted on an 07' Dodge 3500. Treadlife looks to be terrible but most miles are on gravel. We put some Maxxis tires on our 03' at the same time and they are wearing much, much better. Also the Maxxis gets better traction in mud to boot. I would advise you from my experience to avoid this particular tires.
