The 06 SCREW is coming together slowly but surely. Tuesday me and 2 guys from my fire station wired up the Clarion NX409 I got for Christmas.


Now I gotta find an alarm system. The S&W is a good deterrent but I need something for when I'm away from my truck... Anyone have a Compustar alarm/remote start? If so let me know how you like it.

$499 from crutchfield with all the wiring harnesses and mounts included. Plus they send you directions on how to disassemble everything on your truck to get at the radio and speakers...I had no clue how to get theback seat out until i saw those directions

 

I have a compustar that I got from Travis at KC Autosound. I installed it myself with the directions from Travis. I went with this one because you can upgrade it later when you have funds but if money is no issue then go with the 2 way.

As I said the above is a one way but you can upgrade the antenna to a 2 way later. You can also wire up any optional sensors u want. I put a magnet sensor on my back sliding window and threw a tilt on it with 2 stage shock sensor.
