Default Woooo hoooo

Well Job was successful and the truck runs like new. I am actually surprised how much smoother it feels and like it has more power off the line !!!!
My Phasers have been out for a few years now so you don't notice it gradually get worse and rougher.
In Canada I was quoted at least 4100 to do all the work and I did it for under 600 parts shipped to my door

Thanks S_Vares for your posts it helped out a lot!!!!!

I am just afraid that I will buy these parts and change them all out and it will be something else wrong with it.

Possible but unlikely...I had issues with mine after. Had to change the pass manifold and a bolt broke so I had to remove the head...got it back together and my cousin had set the time wrong so had to open her back up again and after months and a few mechanics found out what's wrong with her now....vacuum line on the back of the intake came off...fixing it tomorrow

Default HMMMM p0022

Well everything has been going to good up until today!!!!!

For some reason if I put it in reverse and tap the gas i get the dreadful P0022 code. I guess a good fix is just not to reverse but not good enough lol.

Driving forwards seems to be great and truck still purrrrsss but when in reverse and the slightest tap of gas she starts misfiring !!!

Any Ideas ????????

Trying to reset computer, we will see

Probably has nothing to your issue, but check out this youtube video.
The conclusion in this video was low oil pressure (bad pump) causing the vct system to do wacky things. This truck had the chains vct phasers etc replaced.

Also , Svares, if you are reading this, how would you go about checking the oil pressure at the head in these trucks. Since i did this work several months ago I have not been able to resolve some of the issues i have been experiencing (too long to go into, but I have never gotten any codes)
