Do you have the factory rims still? That change alone will make it seem like a brand new truck.

All you have to do is find someone that is willin to sell theirs. You can easily find a set of factory 18's/20's for less than 500, including tires sometimes (craigslist). I am looking into buyin a new set of rims, so if I do, i'm selling mine for like $300 (20's aftermarket) so deals are out there. Just got to find them.

I agree with Vano, leveling kit for $70+alignment. And then find a set of stock 4x4 rims and tires for a few hundered bucks on craigslist or ebay.

Hell Bent Steel for the front spacers. Great product at a great price. I recommend the 2.5" kit, along w/ a AAL in the rear. You can get the AAL from 4wheelparts pretty cheap, and shipped to you. Its an easy install, for both. Many of us have done this ourselves so if you do end up doing all of this, just hop on the forum, snap some pics of what is troubling you, and we'll diagnose anything you come up we're. Lots of smart guys on here (not me, but others).

Do fender flares offer anything besides aesthetics? I've heard that they can help prevent rusting around the wells, but I'm not entirely convinced. I want to start modding my 07 XLT Screw, and figured flares would be the best/easiest/cheapest place to start.

Not sure how much prevention they provide. I know that when I take my flares off to wax, there is dirt/sand built up underneath showing the months that I havent washed it. I assume salt would be able to get in there as well, which would enhance rusting, not inhibit.

Not a huge fan of the big flares myself, some trucks can pull it off but the majority of them look weird IMO.
Here is a cheap set of wheels around my area that i was really considering just getting and having them podwercoated black but i dont think the backspacing will look good on my truck.

i really want them.
