Fan question

Default Fan question

My fan clutch is going bad on my 05 money is not my problem should I replace it with a new eom clutch or upgrade to a e-fan setup I've been reading and searching older threads and would like to know what all you guys and gals thinks a better setup. For bucko nice write up on the install you did on your truck. Thanks everyone please tell me your opinion

Definitely upgrade to E-Fans.

Ive read all the threada on EFans but how to the work. Do u tie them in to the thermostat somehow?

Here's a link to a write up I did on the Motorcraft efans. Perhaps it will be of some help. Troyer has a great kit btw and it uses probes that stick into the radiator. The setup I used is a little different placing a temp probe in the actual radiator hose via and adapter. http://www.f150online.com/forums/oth...-pics-vid.html

They usually have their own thermostat. Either a wet (like what Blown Ford has) or a dry probe (the troyer e-fan kit).

The troyer kit is a true redundant system. Each fan has its own thermostat and it's own controller I believe so if one fan were to fail for any reason, it would have no effect on the other fan, and it would continue to function.

Thanks guys! Everytime i think im.done modding for a little bit. I find something on here Girlfriend hates it but o well go spend $100 on your hair lol
