Default Fair Market Value?

I am looking to see what the fair market value might be for this truck. I am considering selling it. I can look it up on KBB but that doesn't account for everything I have added to it. I know that I will not get all of my money back but just wondering what I might expect to get out of it.

The Basics
2005 F150 XL
4.6L engine 250,000 miles
4X4
PW
PL
Power Mirrors
Cruise Control
Tilt Wheel
Air Condition

This was a fleet vehicle so it has been meticulously maintained. All maintenance records can be obtained from the Ford dealership.

The Extras
4" Rough Country Lift
BALLISTIC JESTER 814 18X9 6X135 BOLT PATTERN -12MM OFFSET - FLAT BLACK
Falken Wild Peak AT 325/60/18 tires with less than 3000 miles on them
Lower body line, bumpers and bed lined with raptor liner
Repainted in February 2014
Bushwacker 2" fender flares
20" LED light bar in grill
Black billet grill inserts
Kenwood Double Din head unit with DVD/XM/Phone/Blue Tooth and back up capabilities
Back Up camera installed
Flowmaster SI/DO muffler with matte black tips
FORD and F150 badges blacked out with white lettering
Front ball upper control arms and all ball joints replaced in February.
The headlights have been blacked out as well.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Fair Market Value?-f150.jpg

first things first...mods do NOTHING for resale value and in fact sometimes hurt it...id say the truck may be in the 8-10k range and that may be pushing it

Its a really good looking truck but that is a lot of miles.

If I was selling it I would ask 10500.

It I was buying it I would pay 8000.

Yeah, I know it is a ton of miles but runs like a top. It belonged to my brother-in-law. He got it from the company that he worked for. He averaged at least 200 miles a day. He was taking it in for service every 3 weeks for fluid changes and such.

Thanks for the compliments on it. I got it when it was completely stock and I had everything put on it to make it the way that it is.

5-6k. Few buyers will want a truck with those miles.

Its an 05 XL work truck with 250k miles. The only think it has going for it is 4x4. As stated most won't consider a truck with those miles regardless how it has been maintained. If you can get 6-7k Id jump on it. KBB put it at $7200 and that is on the high side IMO. You could always take your aftermarket stuff on it and part it out and sell it stock. May be the best option $ wise.

5k as a buyer.. Miles and mods are the definite killer...You may be better off trading it in and selling the mods privately.. At trade in you will have some cheating room to complete the sale with the dealer. But in a private sale it's a buyers market.. You might make an extra 2 - 3k with the sale of the mods, but it will take some time and patience to hit those numbers.

If you got the room and some extra cash I say just keep it.. Trucks are tools, and tools make money. You could always start a small side business. 5-6k is peanuts these days..

Is there a reason why you needed to repaint the truck?
