Default Fail safe mode

First time poster...I’m female. After clearing many codes I thought my truck was good to go. Code reader said NO CODES. Not.... got in started up vehicle and went about 30 ft and got “fail safe mode” on my dash. Put on the code reader and still no codes! Now what could it be?

***UPDATE***
I'm replying to myself as an update. I literally had 7 different codes at various times, prior to the fail safe mode issue...that was just the final issue, hopefully. I started with just a yellow engine light though the issue according to the code number was coil pack so ordered them and put them in....no...then I was getting issues with my ignition coils? had someone check them out and he doubted anything was wrong because of so many codes. Someone said to get another computer so I did to the tune of $250+...not the issue. The I got a message on the dash to check the charging system. so had an alternator still under warranty and got a replacement for that. Issue solved, NO. All these corrections only gave me new codes to work through. Went to the local junkyard and got another alternator, it worked! At least that issue was corrected, BUT only with the old computer, yes the old computer. So, with the old computer and an old alternator, my alternator is now charging the battery at the correct amount, but I now have 2 new codes. P0102 and P0113....Thank you youtube they both said the MAF...for my vehicle is was an easy check. I used the cleaner and reinstalled (after I ordered a new one)and so far, NO codes, NO fail safe mode!!!! Did you ever feel like you chased a ghost! Good luck out there guys.... My 75 year old hubby and myself 73 got a run for our money on this one... Now I just have to fix the headlight on my 2014 SRX. Wish me luck as I do about 50% of the work to help..

I thought the fail safe mode appears when there is an issue with the electronic throttle body not being able to properly control the throttle angle?
