So long story short, I have owned my truck new since Nov 08, and have always thought the stereo was sub par. I even mentioned it to the dealer when I was in for service and told them to look at the sub (because I thought it was non functional) I was told by the dealer that nothing was wrong.

So this past weekend I decided to replace the speakers and check out the sub myself.

So now I will be calling the dealer I bought it from and getting this issue fixed.

 

Unreal, once you hook it up you will be happy with the factory sub. I changed mine but only because I love tons of bass. The factory sub is pretty decent in my opinion.

 

damn I'd be pissed not only that it was cut but that the dealer said they had it checked out and every thing worked fine when obviously they didn't in my opinion that just lack of respect and customer service. I'd definitely want to talk to the manager.

 

Yeah I would have to talk to the manager about that as well

 

Tomorrow I will be making a phone call, I am not impressed at all... Love the truck just not the way my issue was handled.

In the end I may have just spent money replacing speakers that would have been fine with the factory sub operational
