Factory style running boards
Hello everyone, this is my first post so first I'll tell you a little about myself and my truck.
I purchased my 2005 screw Lariat in Oct 2007. The previous owner had rhino lined the bed, put dual exhaust out the passenger side (not sure what kind...now I'm curious though, so I'm waiting for the weather to warm up before I crawl under there and figure it out,) put a tonneau bi-fold cover on it, and only driven the thing for 11,500 miles. I bought it for $20,000 less than the original purchase price, too! Score! Apparently the there's an old guy that buys a new ford truck (from Ranger to 250) every year, does some mods, then trades it in. Works for me.
Anyway, the township folks decided not to treat some of the ice on a road recently and I slid into a guard rail. Honestly, I came out lucky because the only thing that happened was a busted front bumper cover and a demolished passenger side running board. The initial impact was almost straight on, then I rolled along the guard rail and bounced off of it when my passenger side made contact with the guard rail. I was screaming every 4 letter word known to man because I only have a few more payments until it's payed off! Much to my surprise, the damage was minimal and I escaped with no engine damage and minor body damage....the headlights and fog lights still work, too!
Because of the repairs I need to make, I started looking at this forum and saw all the mods people were doing. GREAT! Now I want to do them too! Before that, though, I at least need to replace the running board on the passenger side. My wife gave birth last month, and since I plan on having this truck for awhile I want a flush running board so the little guy's feet don't slip off and he somehow slips between the truck and, say, a nerf bar or something. Plus I like the fact that it protects some of the truck from gravel being kicked up.
I apologize for the lengthy intro, but now that that's out of the way, let me post this link and see what everyone has to say about it.

It's alright to ask opinions on parts, prices, etc. To the original poster, there's nothing wrong with your post.
I did however delete a response, as we don't want folks to use this forum to sell their parts. In the future, please send a PM to someone if you have a part for sale, unless you are answering a classified post in that section.
Thanks for your understanding.
