I have 295 x 17 Hankook's- 33"(??) on my 07 and mine rubbed while cornering. I removed the mud guards to alleviate.

Those guards stick way in there, I can only get the 275 75 18s to clear, I have about a inch of space when straight but only a .5" when locked so I have no where to go with mine. I tried taking them off but since they were on there for 6 years they left a brown mark that wouldnt come off
