Replacing my factory speakers and noticed my front speakers have a black box attached to them. I have the upgrade sound system. Thinks its called Adiophile. It has the factory subwoofer under the back seat. Do I need to attach that black box to my new speakers? I notice that the tweeter and speaker connect to it, or can i just splice the tweeter and speaker wire together?

 

are you planning on running your new door speakers off an aftermarket amp? are the new door speakers component systems, or is it just one speaker?
