Default Factory Alarm

Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity on a factory alarm? I am not talking about the anti-theft system (I one with the light on top of the dash)..I have a factory installed alarm with the light right next to my headlight switch. Well the thing keeps going off in the middle of the night...annoying...but doesn't seem to do it during the day. I think the paper boy sets it off...not sure???? I now that if you turn the key from off to on 3 times it puts the alarm in valet. Anything will help thanks.

Check underneath your steering column for a switch that you can adjust the sensitivty setting. I don't have a factory alarm, but on my aftermarket alarm that's where they put mine and the installer said that's usually where you'll find the factory setting. Best I can do for ya, hopefully someone with a factory alarm will come along and help you out if my suggestion doesn't.
