Facelift/ Celebrating Supercharged 100,000 miles
So I crossed the 100,000 mile mark. Whipple supercharged bone stock motor running 12psi on the street and 13psi at the track. Made some changes to the front end using the Harley grill and surround I bought in the classifieds a few years ago. Also stumpled accoss a Foose air dam and added Harley Davidson headlights. Very pleased with the new look.

Damn that looks good. Nice that the truck is holding up well with boost. Hope you get another 100k out of it.

Agree with PTM the grill surround...it would look sick !! That motor sure don't look like it has 100K on it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I would like to PTM at some point but I'm liking the black. It's different and drawls out the black headlights. Pulls in the air dam as well.
Next project will be to install this GT500 factory short block I have sitting here. Will allow me to up boost and run 600rwhp (750rwhp max) with no issue. Redline will go to 6500rpm.
Should be fun. Just gotta save the money for timing components and head work. Have a set of cams ready to go as well. Should be a fun project.

Your truck looks great and is super clean. I thought I was doing a good job keeping my engine clean, but I'm failing by your standards. Haha. The engine swap looks like a great project. Keep us posted on that.

I see you have an oil separator, on the passenger side of my Roush Supercharged truck it brings in a ton of oil, what separator did you use? Or what one did you piece together? I think this will help my longevity also. Thanks!

Oil on the intercooler will reduce it's efficiency and the oil entering the combustion chamber can reduce the octane rating of the fuel in the combustion chamber as well.
