The stretch excursions and the "brand new" excursions with the 6.7 are awesome...although I did see some rather shoddy wire harness extension work that needed repair on one occasion recently...all wires extended with generic red wires...ALL of them...but that's a relatively minor issue, the body work was outstanding.

You get what you pay for... That's why I posted his website, he's been doing top notch work for a while (maybe not the wiring) and it shows

To the op, if your really considering this, what about starting with an expedition instead? Than your "just" cutting away. Trust me I'm not speaking from knowledge, this stuff is way over my skill set.

to get the real bronco look, i would think you would need to start with a reg cap and shorten the frame for a 5.5 bed. then cut out the back of the cab/front wall of bed, weld in all your seams, and cut out the front wall of the cap but leave it detatchable. then you would just have to make up some interior trim panels and make it look nice anf finished. sounds like alot of work but if you planned it out correctly and had all your ducks in a row before starting, it shouldnt be that bad. just make sure you have a qulified welder or at least someone who REALLY knows how to weld do the frame. the rest is sheet metal work and interior.

Now that is impressive it actually looks off road capable unlike the 4 doors (wheel base too long ) 3/4 toms are amazing but a 1/2 ton is more practical
