Hi guys.
I find a really strange problem on my lariat 5.4 year 2007.
It's been a year since I picked up truck.
Since I own it the passenger side mirror works for tuning.
But the heater and the flasher did not work.
This weekend I decided to fix it.
I removed the door panels to access the connector.
The problem was the following.
Terminal 2 and terminal 9 of the connector do not have a wire.
the wire that was to find it at location 2 is at position 8. And the wire that was to find it at position 9 was at position 11.

I was able to remove the truck-side connector lock and put the wire back in the right place.
Now everything works but I do not understand how it could have been produced.

Now that all this works I noticed a novelty in my truck.
When I start the truck it automatically activates the mirror defrosting for more or less 1 minute and then turns it off.

I want to clarify that the connector of the truck has obviously never been replaced.

I do not know if another owner has gotten into trouble.
But maybe my experience will serve someone.

 

I want to clarify that the terminal 2 and the terminal 9.
Are each one of the ground.
number 2 the ground for the flasher.
Number 9 the ground for heating.

 

Assembly line worker 'hung over' from Sunday night drunk. Truck came on assembly line Monday morning!

 

Or it was the Friday before a long weekend.
