Default F150 Stalls when put in gear.

2007 F150 5.4... Just did a timing job along with new cams, lifters, and rockers...

The truck will start and idle just fine. The issue is that when I put it in reverse or drive it immediately dies. I also have to jump it with another vehicle to get it started. At first I assumed it was the alternator but I put a multi-meter on the battery while it was idling and it holds steady above 14 volts with all the lights on and the radio cranked. As soon as I put it in gear it starts to die and the voltage drops quick.... after it stalled out a few times like that and having to jump it each time, I decided to rev the motor with it in gear and the brake pressed down and that kept it running and kept the voltage up. As soon as I let off the throttle it stalls again.

I have a brand new battery in it and based off the multi meter reading I believe the alternator is good. When cranking it without jumper cables the voltage drops from about 12.2 all the way down to 8 volts during cranking. Then when I stop cranking the battery goes back to the normal 12.2 volts. I get codes B1676-20 and B1352-60. Any ideas on this one???

B1676 Battery Pack Voltage Out of Range
B1352 Ignition Key-In Circuit Failure
somewhere you have a severe voltage drop, could be a bad ground or a bad wire somewhere

I had similar issue when I added a reverse alarm and led pods to my reverse circuit. Alarm was good alone, but once 1 pod was added the truck would stall out. Drive was OK obviously as there was no abnormalities fir that circuit.

If that is not your case, then I would run a diagnosis on it to pinpoint the trouble wire/s.
B codes are usually ground concerns. You may even have to have a self test done on PCM and the BCM to determine where the fault is.

Good luck and keep us posted

Have you let it do the idle relearn?
Removing the battery for a long the computer forgets a lot of stuff and needs to relearn it.
Basically you have to get it up to normal temp, let it idle in park, parking brake on and AC off for one minute.
Idle with the parking brake and AC on in park for a minute, then in Drive AC on foot on the brake, parking brake off for a minute

I had this problem- two issues could be one fuse under the hood when you boost it over comes the corrosion or where the negative wire that goes from the batter to the starter also is another spot id check it will also work only when boosted hope it helps
