F150 Performance shop in South Florida
Whats up everyone....
I've always searched the site to look at pictures and general FAQ but Im need of some direction. I live in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area and performance shops down here have somewhat all disappeared with the economy. My problem is that I have a 2007 F150 Harley with the Saleen Supercharger package and of course, the dealership never really knows how to handle the "Factory Installed Supercharger" and come up with an excuse as to why they can't touch the car engine wise. The truck has just hit 88,000 miles and I think it's about time to change the belts. I've decided to take the opportunity and purchase a Troyer Performance Package which brings the gator back belt with an upgraded pulley and tuner. Sorry for rambling, but ultimately I need some recommendations as to performance shops that know how to deal with this truck PLUS are experienced in supercharger tuning. I know years ago we had Speed and Truck world, but they seem to be standard intake and exhaust installations now with a wheel inventory.
Thanks for any help guys

Heres a link to VMP. From what I understand Justin is an excellent tuner and they definitely know forced induction. http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index.php?
Post up some pics.

Nothing against Troyer, but if you're going to take it to a performance shop to do the work, why not just buy the stuff through them and let them put it on the dyno to tune it?
As for shops, pretty much any Mustang performance shop should be willing and able to do whatever you need. I've not used any of these shops (I'm in Orlando and always took my 04 Cobra to Lamotta Performance, still take my F150 there too) but have heard good things about them on the SVTPerformance forums and other Mustang forums.

Not sure if Steeda still turns wrenches or if they only sell parts these days, but they are down that way, too. If you're looking for specific opinions, some of the Mustang forums will be your best bet.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will definitely look into these recommendations. I don't trust just any shop for my car because I've been through headaches in the past working with shops that thought they knew what they were doing....ends up costing me unnecessary repairs. I've kept this truck pretty much stock for that reason, but I want to open this supercharger up already. 5psi boost just doesn't do justice
