F150 Lariet

Just got my 2004 F150 lariet, there are no manuals in truck so trying to locate some. It's a supercrew and under back seat on drivers side there is a black plastic closed box. This truck has no overhead dvd package. My Dad has 2006 lariet, club cab and his manuals don't show anything. Could someone tell me what it is.

Its your rides' little black box. In case you go down in gun fire they will only be able to find that. So when in trouble hold on to that damn box..
