Exclamation f150 electrical issues

My 2004 f150 just turned its headlights and what seemed to be the ac on without the key in the ignition. Tried disconnecting the battery issue remained after reconnecting. Am going to try leaving battery disconnected for an hour or so to see if problem remains. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Also no response from trying to start the truck with the key.

No the problem persisted. Problem was a short in one of the Cup's, unplug cpu board truck started, plugged cpu back in while running and fixed the issue. Will be going to dealership for further repairs.

thanks for editing your first post. now it is more clear as to what your problem is and what you did. you only need to leave it disconnected for 30mins for the comp to reset itself. sounds like its the ignition that needs replacing to me.

we are not trolls, how you worded it made it sound like you were disconnecting the battery and the headlights and ac stayed on. your words. which is not possable, hence all the jokes at your expense.

Was not mad just laughing at myself for not catching the mistake in the post, the ignition seems to be fine however I am not aware as to if the ignition may be regulated by that particular cpu. Thank you for the posts just glad was able to get the truck up to limping.
