Default F150 daily driver?

Hey everyone, it only seems right to own a mustang and truck. but im getting the second car as a daily driver, and i commute about 80 miles a day. all the other threads seem to have people trying to get out of trucks to save gas.

is it really that bad?
any comments would help.

I have a 3v 5.4 and can get about 17.5 on the interstate and about 14 in town, I can't speak for the v6 but I wouldn't consider mine to be real great on gas

My truck is my only vehicle for the whole family. I easily drive over 100 miles a day. It costs me quite a bit but it's comfy. I bought the truck to use so I got to pay to play

BUT this would be to try and save gas...twin turbo V8 on 20 inch rims isnt exactly a good commuter car...
