So i have a 2008 f150 super crew and it recently got broken into. The thieves punched out the drivers door lock so I'm in the process of finding a repair. The lock still unlocks with the button or keypad but it doesn't quite lock unless you push the lock down. Anyone had good luck doing the repair themselves? I've seen youtube videos of it being done and it doesnt look too bad. I'm going to need a new door handle and lock cylinder but what else might need to be replaced? Should i just take it to the Ford dealer? Thanks for the help
