F-150 3" Leveling Kit
I recently put a 3" leveling kit on my truck. I got to reading about it, and some say it is not recommended. Is this because of the angles on the CV shafts?

i just put them on mine and the biggest thing i have to say is there is no negative travle so if floats through the holes more but i have not seen any problems.
on the shaft topic it depends of the specifics like the hubs locking or not and who designed the system some claim they dont spin but do. others just dont say so if you ask them they can say there is nothing wrong until after the warranty goes out
hope i helped

JD, The shafts (I assume you're referring to the CV shafts) should only be engaged when you are in 4wd or when the engine is off.
DMack....04 to 09 F150's don't have torsion bars. They have coil springs.
I put a 2-1/2" in mine with no issues except for the lower a-frame camber adjustment bolts coming loose after alignment. Nothing a big breaker bar can't handle.
