Experience with cam phaser replacement.
Dealership finally decided that the ticking noise I have been complaining about was a cam phaser issue.
Put it in the shop, still under warranty.
For some reason, they only deemed the drivers-side was bad. They fixed it, and one week later, I can hear the tick softly again, along with a slight rattle for 2-3s at startup.

Main question here is... Will it be fine to drive for a week or two more, I hate not having my truck for another 3-4 days, I have towing to do. Plus I have to take my Gotts Mod off and reinstall the stock.

It will be fine, there are guys in this forum that drive with the cam phaser issue everyday and have been for thousands of miles. It not until it gets real bad that you need to worry about damage.
Also, i had both of mine fixed and both manifolds replaced and i still have a slight tick, mine are the injectors, there noisy. I've been told and I've come to believe it that these engines are just noisy, they will never pur.
