im looking to get a exhaust system for my 2006 5.4, i want something that sounds good but need to keep it legal. need some recommendations

remove the stock muffler and weld up a aftermarket muffler in its place and add a tip.

I put an MBRP single on about a year ago and I love it! It sounds great but not annoying, goes on easy in the stock hangers and wont break the bank. The Aluminum Coated is about $350 and they have 2 stainless versions at $410 and $490 Duals are also available. If you install have a can of spray lube (WD-40, CRC, TriFlow) available it really helps, I installed mine in about an hour.
