It a cat in my truck a few years back the u clamp they have rotted off. Looking to put a lap joint stainless band clamp in its place. I measure 2 1/2" on the bigger pipe with the cat coming off the manifold. Just wondering if that's correct?

 

if your asking with size the pipe is then yes !
