Default Exhaust question

What would happen if you just replaced the muffer with a High Flow Cat of some type?


Not saying I am going to do this, but what if?

It would probably sound different and you would have less money. I have never heard of somebody doing that, usually it's the other way around. Ha.

A high flow muffler is less restrective than any cat even if they are quieter.

You have heard of people replacing a cat with a muffler? Those are new ones for me

Ha no no no, I meant usually people are trying take the cats off their truck not add more cats to it.

I have heard of replacing cats with mufflers..... They were bullitt race mufflers.
