Exhaust question
Can I just cut out my stock muffler and throw on a flowmaster 40 series? Ideas? sound quality? and what is the muffler pipe size? same as stock exhaust pipe coming out of the rear of the truck?

I had my stock muffler cut out and installed a flowmaster muffler a month ago. The flowmaster installed was a single in/single out and the mechanic reused of all my existing pipe. The flowmaster is noticeably louder than the stock muffler but not as loud as a true dual exhaust. No cab drone at highway speeds.
