Default exhaust performance ?

Was wondering what the difference between a single side vs. a dual out the back is for performance. reason im asking is because good deal on the borla but not sure if one is better than the other, besides just the look.

if its just one muffler and not true duals i dont think it really makes a difference. i have they magnaflow sido (single in dual out) in front of the rear tire but i really dont think they make that big of difference whether its a sido or siso (single in single out). but again i could be wrong.

If its not a true dual system then the difference is only in looks. a SIDO muffler wont perform much different than a SISO muffler

You know to be honest I cant really tell you for sure. I have heard that, on our trucks, for sound a true dual exhaust is better, but for performance a single cat back 3 inch exhaust is better....But thats just what I have heard. I know I have the 3 inch cat back with magnaflow and it is VERY nice If what I have heard is true then I am all about performance over sound, thats why I went with 3 inch single over duals and Magnaflow over Flowmaster.

Do you do alot of towing? I've heard having the duals out the back takes away towing performance.

I have a Magnaflow dual out the back (mild setup)
