Default Exhaust opinions please!

Ok guys so I got an 05 king ranch 5.4. I was thinking of just a simple cat-back in the stock location. I don't think I wanna bother with dual rear exits under the bumper, but I do like that as well. I was thinking either the flowmaster American thunder kit or the MBRP kit. I had MBRP on my diesel, but obviously I can't judge from that. And I always loved the classic 40 series sound of a flowmaster. What do u guys think?

My opinion is a Borla or Magnaflow muffler. Refer to this thread for my suggestions on the rest of the system:

What I did is had them cut off stock muffler and weld up a Flowmaster Delta 50 series and add a stainless steel 3" tip...sounds great...no drone. $260 out the door.

I'm curious, what is the price range for that setup going to cost me?

MBRP SISO here, great sound without being obnoxious. Got the XP Series T409 stainless for $340 shipped. The 3.5" tubing w/ 4" tip looks nice and mean as well.

I put Magnaflow cat-back system on my 06 Lariat 5.4. Dual Harley style exits behind the rear wheel. Very easy to do yourself, sounds great, not too loud. Cost me about $550 cdn., that's about $8000 US. haha; I know, it'll be short-lived.

X2 on MBRP easy install and reasonably loud (wont kill you on a long ride) but sounds like you got something.
