h pipe is more likely to be brutally loud, and exhaust won't flow as well. x pipe will flow better in a number of ways, be more likely to have a better overall sound.

if you're looking for a majority or full aftermarket exhaust system replacement, magnaflow would be my first recommendation, excellent product

if you have a mostly or all stock powertrain and want a dual aftermarket exhaust, allow me to suggest factory manifolds and downpipes, an x pipe, and a magnaflow catback system. if you want to keep it quieter get something close to stock muffler-wise, if you want added performance and a bit more sound, I'd recommend a straight-through muffler, which is a fine compromise between stock-type and/or restrictive muffler, and a full blown straight-pipe exhaust. although if you get a catback system, it will come with mufflers and those might be fine.

magnaflow is usually a good sounding exhaust, and has a great build quality. flowmaster is a decent brand as well, borla is another good brand but I've found them a bit pricey.

there is a lot out there, best of luck in your search. also if you have any other questions, feel free to ask right here or shoot me a PM. always here to help
