I want a louder truck with more power. Should I just get a new muffler or whole exhaust system?

 

Pretty easy to make it louder - lots of exhaust/cat/resonator options to do that. If you want more power - buy a different truck. Only negligible power gains can be made with exhaust or intake improvements. Only true way to increase power would be to chip it or have a turbo/super installed.

 

New muffler, look into dynomax bullet for louder, won't add much power as an exhaust won't add much if any power, I love mine and it was pretty cheap, forty bucks off amazon. This thread has some videos.
