If it's not marked Ford. Run for the hills. With 20 odd hours of labor involved, don't skimp on parts. Look up Fordtechmakuloco on YouTube. He has seen the cheap parts fail on startup. Don't risk it.

Isn't that kit something like $300 on Amazon? Yeah, I wouldn't dare touch that.

Who did you get mixed reviews from? Wasn't one of them that the chain itself broke? You can waste your time and money if you want, but we will tell you I told you so when something fails.

Yeah, and if your chain breaks, you can say goodbye to some pistons and valves.

Go read the reviews. No one has had it last over a year. The warranty is for 3 months. Garbage.

You should get this instead:
The Ford OEM timing set The Ford OEM timing set
. (Doesn't include oil pump).
The Melling M340HV is the one you should use

It's the tk6068vt kit but most likely all the same and if the kit fails it's more necessary upgrades the wife only lates me spend money when the truck does not move so if it works it works and if not up grades will still keep posting on kit install and reliability since there is no Real review on this kit being
installed by a licensed mechanic that will follow the installation steps provided by Ford we'll find out if it's just people doing a bad install or if the kit is actually junk
