04-06 FORD F-150 5.4L V8 AIR INTAKE + K&N FILTER

Seems like The only thing "K&N" is the filter it self. 1/2 the price of the actual K&N System. Do you guys think its worth a shot? 3.5" Aluminum piping, claims 8-15hp.

 

k&n = blownmotor

 

please explain. ive had one on my ranger since 2003 and the motor runs as good as it did when it was new

 

yeah explain, if the intake was on properly there is no way possible you can blow your motor, rhubbish

 

I never had a problem with them....

I have had K&N on 4 of my vehicles...

 

thats the ebay kit i posted about in a few threads down. Everyone bashed it cause the price was cheap. I think also that pipe is 4".

 

Theres NO way you meant "K&N"=Blown Motor.... Did you mean from the custom made piping etc.?

Bottom line anyone think this set up is worth it? Its half the price of the real set up, just looks a little weird.

I'm still wondering how K&N equals a blown motor??? Their products are some of the best made on the market.

 

Its listed as 3.5"..... Whats the real K&N piping, 4" or 3.5?
