Due to having a 2007, unfortunately I have to take off the valve covers and associated BS. Long story short, will large chain garages evacuate the A/C system for a reasonable fee? Since letting that off in the air is obviously frowned upon..

 

Yeah. Any garage can do it and I don't think it would be too expensive since you aren't asking them to diagnose any trouble. Call around and get a some prices.

 

Work a turn key deal for them to evac and recharge. WHile you have it open, replace the FOV.
