Hi,
I just recently just bought a 2008 FX2 and it has the entry pad on the doors. Can the code be reset without going to the dealer?

Google your model year to find location of code. Behind seat, right kick panel.

You can set your own but original code cannot be erased.

 

Be mindful your module may be behind the back seat mounted to the cab wall also depending on your body style.

Youtube has plenty of videos. Just for kicks, look thorough your owners manual if you have it. Ford printed the code on a white card and stuffed it in one of the pockets. Most owners leave the card in there but some might remove it.
