Default Entry Code trouble

Good afternoon men, and ladies. Today i had a unique scenario that I would like to run past you and see if anyone else have experienced it. I use my keypad, on the driver door for entry in lieu of using the key. Obviously i can still use the key, but today my 7/8 button(when pushed) locks the door as if i was pressing both the 7/8 and 9/0. With a 7 being apart of my code, my door code no longer works.. any thoughts?

this is my first thread so if i need to be posting this differently I am open to suggestions.

Thanks

Bad keypad would be my guess. It's replaceable without requiring a complete door handle assembly. Try programming a new code, not using the 7 in that new temporary code to test if indeed the keypad's number 7 is bad.

Sounds like a bad keypad to me as well. They aren't too hard to replace if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. it involves removing the inside door panel, and the handle itself. Plenty of videos on YouTube of removing the door panel.

Maybe a 3-4 hour job if it's your first time removing a door panel
