Engine tick?
Hi,
Longtime lurker 1st time poster. looking at this 2006 f150 4.6 at an auction. It has p1285 and p1299 codes. Additional notices this "tick" that's regular at about every 5ish seconds. It happens around the 8 second mark in the video. I'm mechanically inclined and am ok with putting some work into this truck. Any thoughts and comments appreciated.

Code P 1299 Coolant Sensor detecting an overheat condition or wire issue to it. Be sure the engine is not overheating first.
Code P 1258 Fuel Injector cylinder 8 circuit open or faulty Injector. Check the plug-up for being open first.
Good luck.
