I have a 2004 F-150 SCrew (5.4) with 90000 miles. Yesterday while decelerating on a highway exit ramp I heard a fairly loud tapping noise which stopped at about 25 mph. It happened twice. There is no noise at cruising speed or upon acceleration. Could this be a timing chain or chain(s) perhaps? I didn't find anything like this searching this forum.
