Default Engine Stutter at 35-40 MPH

I have a 2008 XLT 5.4 3V Flex, with about 32,000 miles on it. Original owner. I have recently noticed a weird stutter right at 38 MPH, It almost feels like im hitting a bump in the road. ( Which i thought was the case, since the roads here are crap) It doesn't do it at any other speeds that i noticed. I did recently change my Evo settings, which i got from a post on here. I think the shift firmness might be the issue (set to 16 on each gear). I really don't know anything for certain. Any ideas anyone?

When i ran my edge evo in my 06, i couldnt run ANY custom settings, or i would get the same thing. Try to run the canned program and see if it goes away.

If it does, then you know thats the cause, and you might be able to find a custom setting which will work through trial and error.

Good luck !
