The truck was sitting for about four years and after replacing a few parts it ran fine for a day. Now, in drive there's a loss of power, but if I accelerate quickly I lose all engine power and the engine starts shaking. When this happens I can put it in park for a minute and it goes back to normal. I can barely make it to the gas station running as it is.

 

It's most likely fuel related.
1) Bad gas
2) Injectors are shellacked
3) fuel pump is gummed/plugged
