Default Engine Failsafe Mode

Here in the last month bout once a week I go to crank my 05 with 108k miles and it will say engine failsafe mode. I turn the key off and turn it back on and it's fine. It only threw one code which was a overev code which I haven't done. Does anybody know what's going on? It seems to be getting more frequent.

When it goes into failsafe mode, pull the codes right away!

It only threw that one code. I'm thinking it has something to do with the throttle sensor or something.

I thee the same code p2106, happened 3x. Cleared it with my edge but it kept coming back. After hours of searching, I read the issue is the Throttle Position Sensor and you have to get a reflash at the dealer for the new file. There's a TSB on it. I found the sensor on Amazon for around $60

Replace your throttle body and have your PCM reflashed.
