Diving saturday and noticed the light came on.. I spit out a

PO171- system too lean in bank 1
PO174- system too lean in bank 2

What does this stuff mean?

 

to much air not enough fuel. Are you running a Cold Air Intake of any kind?

 

no. only thing i have is a k&n air filter not the whole intake.

 

if I was running lean and I have no CAI or anything, Id look at the fuel filter for starters (it may be clogged), simple fix and very inexpensive

 

X2 Check the Fuel Filter.

Might also make sure all of your injectors are plugged in. One of they could have worked its way loose enough that it would be intermitent. Maybe run some injector cleaner additive through it.

Does it have any kinda stumble?

 

Check for a vacuum leak. Injector in most cases would only cause one bank to go lean
